Can You Escape? Increases Staff By More Than 25%
TAMPA - February 15, 2018 – Due to increased profitability from Tax Reform Can You Escape? Tampa was able to increase their staff by more than 25% in January and February.
The new staff members will be working Can You Escape?’s mobile escape room at the Bay Area Renaissance Festival, as well as working at their main facility located at 5811 Memorial Highway.
Escape rooms are the fastest growing trend in entertainment globally. In 2013, there were two escape rooms open in the United States, today there are close to 5,000 facilities nationwide. Can You Escape? is one of the largest escape room facilities in the world and has been rated the top escape room in Tampa since 2015, and in 2017 it climbed to #13 in the United States, according to TripAdvisor.
“We decided to use the additional profits we expect to make as a result of Tax Reform to acquire some additional talent in order to fulfill our mission to be the most enjoyable hour you will spend in Tampa,” said John Collins, founder and owner of Can You Escape.
About Can You Escape?
Can You Escape? is Tampa’s #1 escape game provider. The company, just under three-years-old, boasts one of the largest escape room venues in the world, hosting up to 75 people per hour and currently operating 9 rooms, plus three mobile games. The venue offers team building for groups, fun for families and friends and bonding opportunities for groups of all sizes. Their room offerings include: Escape from the Office, Escape from London, The Medieval Adventure, Trapped in a Room with a Zombie and now, From Russia With... The concept of escape rooms, also called puzzle rooms or real-live escape games, evolved into live action games from computer and video games. Teams are locked inside fully-themed rooms and typically have one hour to find the clues, solve the puzzles and figure out a way to open the door. Their popularity exploded so suddenly that TripAdvisor has had to change their algorithms several times because the games were ranking higher than international landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower, the British Museum, and the Statue of Liberty.
